With two weeks to go before their final exams, University of Kentucky law students needed to take a break and relieve some stress. It wasn't hard to do with a lobby full of puppies on Monday.
The "Dog Days of Finals" event, hosted by the Christian Legal Society, a UK College of Law student organization, offered law students the chance to play and cuddle with puppies from Kentucky SAVE, an animal rescue organization who brought the playmates to campus.
So, you are contemplating law school. Wouldn’t it be nice if you could get a first-hand look into law school during your undergraduate studies so you could be more informed when it’s time to make that important decision?
The UK Law Black Law Students Association (BLSA) has done just that for prospective students.
Congratulations to UK Law’s two Kentucky Mock Trial Championship teams who had strong showings at the recent state competition held in Covington, Kentucky. One team, comprised of second year students, advocates Alison Zeitlin and Josh Barnette, and witnesses Amy Robertson and James Wilson, was undefeated before losing in the championship round to an experienced 3L team from Louisville.
