On Wednesday, May 17, the University of Kentucky College of Law held its sixth annual Developing Ideas Conference. Untenured and recently tenured faculty from across the nation were able to gather and share their developing ideas for scholarship in an informal, supportive, and engaging environment – just before diving into summer research.

On Monday, March 6, the University of Kentucky College of Law hosted a conference entitled, “In re Gault: 50 Years Later,” to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the landmark United States Supreme Court decision In re Gault, 387 U.S. 1 (1967). The event took place in the UK Law Courtroom and was open to the public.

The UK College of Law Women’s Law Caucus hosted its annual Spring Luncheon on Wednesday, March 9, at the Hilary J. Boone Center to honor Jane H. Allen and Cortney Lollar for their outstanding contributions as women in the law.

LEXINGTON, Ky. (March 25, 2015) — University of Kentucky Assistant Professor of Law Cortney Lollar testified before the Department of Defense’s Judicial Proceedings Panel in Washington, D.C. on March 13. The Department of Defense established the Judicial Proceedings Panel to conduct an independent review and assessment of judicial proceedings conducted under the Uniform Code of Military Justice involving adult sexual assault and related offenses.
