UK Rosenberg Law Admissions Events
UK Rosenberg Law Caturday Workshops
The University of Kentucky J. David Rosenberg College of Law is excited to offer several virtual events this fall, the most exciting of which is our “Caturday Workshop Series,” which will take place on select Saturdays from 10am-Noon via Zoom.
On Saturdays September 19 and November 7, we are excited to offer a presentation on the admissions process where we will provide a behind the scenes look at what law school admissions committees tend to look for in applicants. On our November 7, we are excited to have the Director of the UK Robert E. Hemengway Writing Center, Ms. Judith Gatton Prats, speak about the dos and don’ts of writing a personal statement.
On Saturdays October 17 and January 30, we will be sharing about how prospective law students can go about finding the best fit for him/her/their-self at a law school. We are excited to have Ms. Jennifer DiSanza from AccessLex speak about the services the organization offers, particularly budgeting for law school and loan repayment.
Each of our four Caturday workshops will end with a 30 minute Question and Answer session with a diverse panel of current UK Rosenberg Law students, who are excited to answer your questions about their experiences.
We hope to see you (virtually) at one of our “Admissions Process” workshops, as well as one of our “Making the Decision” workshops.
Closer to the event dates, we will send out confirmation emails that includes the Zoom link.
**All students who register and attend will also receive a fee waiver code for our the Fall 2021 application.**
