David Royse teaches Law and Economics. He is a partner in the Lexington firm of Ransdell, Roach, and Royse. Professor Royse has represented individuals and families in catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases and has also handled major litigation for many of Kentucky’s top businesses. He represented five families of victims in the crash of Comair 5191 and was appointed by U.S. Judge Karl Forester as Plaintiffs’ Liaison Counsel for the Plaintiffs’ Steering Committee in that litigation. He has served as a Special Justice on the Kentucky Supreme Court on multiple occasions. He is a 1998 Coif graduate of the College of Law.
