Jimmi Nicholson

Director of Admissions

Jimmi Nicholson, is the Director for Admissions at the College of Law. A native of New Orleans, LA, Jimmi received her BA from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside where she was involved in numerous student organizations and leadership positions such as, Resident Advisor, Student Senator and President of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.-Sigma Upsilon Chapter to name a few. After receiving her undergraduate degree, Jimmi earned her Master of Science in Education from Illinois State University. Before arriving at UK, Jimmi served as a Residence Hall Director at Murray State University, Illinois Wesleyan University and The Ohio State University. During her time at OSU, she also served as the Coordinator for African American Student Services at The Ohio State University Student Life Multicultural Center and Assistant Director for Admissions/Diversity & Inclusion at the Moritz College of Law for ten years. Additionally, Jimmi has held leadership positions in the Great Lakes Association of Housing and University Officers, American College Personnel Association, Central Ohio Diabetes Association and founding member of the Annual Meeting of Law School Diversity Professionals.
