Carroll M. Redford, Jr. earned a B.A. at Vanderbilt University , and following a clerkship with the Kentucky Court of Appeals, joined his father's law practice in 1960 and served the Glasgow community through the public and private practice of law until his death in 2003. He served as Barren County Attorney for 12 years, followed by 14 years as the Commonwealth's Attorney for Barren and Metcalf Counties . After serving as Circuit Judge, he returned to private practice. Redford also served the Kentucky legal community as president of both the Kentucky Bar Foundation and the UK College of Law Alumni Association.
