Internship opportunities present an excellent way to gain legal experience and acquire class credit. The law school offers a number of internship opportunities to students, including the judicial internship program, Fayette Commonwealth’s Attorney’s prosecutor’s internship class, prison internship class, U.S. Attorney’s internship class, UK Legal Clinic, and other internships and externships which are added throughout the year. If you are interested in learning when these classes are offered and whether new ones have been added, please see the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs.
Please keep in mind that a student cannot be paid and receive academic credit for the same work. This is mandated by the American Bar Association regulations.
