UK Rosenberg Law Hosts Developing Ideas Conference
On Tuesday, May 12, the University of Kentucky J. David Rosenberg College of Law hosted the 2026 Developing Ideas Conference, where law faculty from across the country gathered and shared their developing ideas and scholarship in an informal and supportive environment.
Josh Douglas, UK Rosenberg Law Associate Dean for Research and J. David Rosenberg Professor of Law, organized the daylong event, which included presentations from 12 law faculty from 12 law schools. UK Rosenberg Law faculty also participated and contributed to scholarship discussions.
"This conference is unique, as it allows scholars to receive feedback on an early-stage idea as they launch their summer research,” Douglas said. “In previous years, faculty who presented at this conference have placed their resulting scholarship in top law journals."
