Christy Ferguson
Program Manager Senior, The Monuments Workshop
Christy Ferguson brings more than 20 years of operations and program management experience to her role as Program Manager for the Monuments Workshop. Her international project management experience has taken her to more than 30 countries, many of which were impacted by armed conflict. During her time at the American Red Cross headquarters, she managed disaster preparedness and recovery projects and coordinated disaster response efforts across Asia and the Middle East. For many years, Christy administered complex federal grants and advised program leaders on compliance and grant management processes.
Christy holds a BA in Anthropology from the University of Virginia and an MA from the American University in Cairo. While in Cairo, she studied under and worked for a renowned legal anthropologist and the founder of a refugee legal aid program in Egypt.
