Jay Prather

Jay Prather is a partner at Garmer and Prather in Lexington, where he has worked since 2004. The firm specializes in injury and negligence litigation. Prof. Prather earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Vanderbilt University with a double major in economics and political science in 2003. He is a 2006 graduate of the College of Law. At UK, he was named Outstanding Third-Year Staff Member of the Kentucky Law Journal and was a member of the Moot Court Board. He was also a member of the Environmental Law Society, Student Public Interest Law Foundation, and American Constitution Society.
