Mary Beth Forester

Legal Director of the Monuments Workshop

Mary Beth Forester serves as the Legal Director of the Monuments Workshop at the University of Kentucky.  She previously served as a Decision Writer and Attorney Adjudicator with the Social Security Administration Office of Hearings Operations in Lexington, Kentucky, and served for many years as the Director of Continuing Legal Education for the Kentucky Bar Association. Prior to her work with the Kentucky Bar Association, she practiced with Johnson, Judy, True & Guarnieri in Frankfort, and McBrayer, McGinnis, Leslie & Kirkland, PLLC in Lexington, focusing primarily on health care, employment, administrative, and real property law. She is also a certified mediator.

Forester earned a JD from the University of Kentucky Rosenberg College of Law, and a BA in Philosophy and English from Centre College.
