Mary Beth Forester
Director of Continuing Legal Education
Mary Beth Forester serves as the Director of the Office of Continuing Legal Education at the University of Kentucky J. David Rosenberg College of Law. She is also a Visiting Professor of Politics at Centre College. Prior to joining UK/CLE, Mary Beth served as the Legal Director of the Monuments Workshop at the University of Kentucky. She previously served as a Decision Writer and Attorney Adjudicator with the Social Security Administration Office of Hearings Operations in Lexington, Kentucky, and served for many years as the Director of Continuing Legal Education for the Kentucky Bar Association. Before beginning her work in public service, Mary Beth was in private practice with Johnson, Judy, True & Guarnieri in Frankfort, and McBrayer in Lexington, focusing primarily on health care, employment, administrative, and real property law, as well as general civil litigation. She is a certified mediator. Mary Beth is a member of the Central Kentucky Inns of Court, the University of Kentucky Law Alumni Association, and serves on the Board of the Fayette County Bar Association.
Forester earned her J.D. from the University of Kentucky College of Law, and her B.A. in Philosophy and English with a History minor from Centre College.
