June 7-13, the UK College of Law, in conjunction with the Fayette County Bar Association (FCBA), co-sponsored the second Summer Law Institute (SLI) – a seven-day residential Law Camp for high school students interested in law and the legal profession.

UK Law Faculty Honored at KBA 2015 Annual Convention

UK Law Professors Allison Connelly and Bill Fortune were honored at the KBA 2015 Annual Convention. The Kentucky Bar Association (KBA) honored Professor Allison Connelly with the 2015 Donated Legal Services Award during their annual membership luncheon. The Donated Legal Services Award is given to “an individual in good standing with the KBA and currently involved in pro bono work. The selection process places special emphasis on the nature of the legal services contributed and the amount of time involved in the provision of free legal services.”

UK Law Inducts Three Into Hall of Fame

CLE Bankruptcy Institute Will Continue in Judge Lee's Name

UK Law’s Office of Continuing Legal Education (CLE) recently held the 17th Biennial Judge Joe Lee Bankruptcy Institute. While this year’s institute was as successful as ever, there was a bittersweet feeling in the air with the absence of a key attendee. Judge Joe Lee passed away on May 21, 2015 – exactly two weeks before his namesake institute.

Salamanca Receives Ducan Teaching Award
