FAQ
How many CLE hours do Kentucky attorneys need?
You must complete 12 hours of CLE each reporting year, 2 of which must be Ethics.
How do I know how many CLE hours I still need?
UK/CLE does not maintain records of how many hours you currently have completed. That information is confidential, and you will need to contact the KBA by phone (502-564-3795) or visit their website (www.kybar.org) for such records.
Do I need “live” CLE hours?
No. Since January 1, 2019, all accredited, technologically transmitted (even if pre-recorded) programs are eligible to be counted toward your 12-hour requirement.
How will course materials be provided for this program?
A PDF of course materials will be provided via email, either as an attachment or as a download link. No printed materials will be available for this program.
The KBA website is so slow! How am I supposed to report my hours by June 30?
You only need to complete your hours by June 30th -- attorneys have until August 10, 2025, to report their earned hours to the KBA before they are considered delinquent.
