A panel of distinguished legal professionals will discuss estate planning basics such as understanding the importance of having wills, powers of attorney, and documents related to health care decisions  This event will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 10, at the Fayette County Circuit Court, 120 N. Limestone, Lexington, Kentucky, in the Multipurpose Room.  Registration is encouraged, but not required, at law.uky.edu/LessonsInTheLaw

Panelists include Fayette District Court Judge Denotra Spruill Gunther; Mary Ellis Patton, an attorney with Bluegrass Elderlaw PLLC; and Margaret Pisacano, deputy general counsel of medical risk management for the University of Kentucky.  Glen S. Bagby, an attorney with Dinsmore & Shohl LLP, will serve as moderator.
