Professor Presents at Symposium at Yale Law School
Nicole Huberfeld, H. Wendell Cherry Professor of Law at the University of Kentucky, gave a presentation entitled The Universality of Medicaid at the Yale Law School conference: The Law of Medicare and Medicaid at 50 on November 6, 2014.
This conference, hosted by Yale Law School, marked the 50th Anniversary of the passage of Medicare and Medicaid. It brought together leading health law and policy scholars as well as policymakers who have played a role in designing and implementing the landmark statutes.
Immediately following the Yale conference, Huberfeld presented Healthcare As a Vehicle for Constitutional Change: The Supreme Court, Conditional Spending, and Medicaid at the University of New Hampshire Constitutionally Speaking event on the Affordable Care Act and Spending Power held on November 8, 2014.
In addition to being a Professor of Law, Huberfeld is a Bioethics Associate at the UK College of Medicine. She teaches classes such as Constitutional Law I and II, Healthcare Organizations & Finance, Bioethical Issues in the Law, and a Healthcare Law & Policy Seminar.
