In its second year since its inception, the event raised over $900 from ticket sales and donations.

Recipients are honored for significant contributions to the university and the community during the annual Lyman T. Johnson Upholding the Torch of Excellence awards ceremony.

The blog received traffic from 40 of the 50 states and attracted visitors from 11 other countries including Ireland, Russia, and South Korea.
