It is an exciting time to be part of the University of Kentucky J. David Rosenberg College of Law. In the fall, our law community experienced a once-in-a-lifetime semester with big changes and big wins. This newsletter is an opportunity to reflect on where we’ve been and celebrate our successes. It is also an opportunity to look toward the future.

On the surface, our look and name have changed. Following a generous gift from alumnus J. David Rosenberg and his wife, Dianne, the UK Board of Trustees approved the naming of the College of Law in December. This came on the heels of the reopening of our law building after two years of significant renovations and expansion.

But, as you know, that’s only the beginning. This law school is about faculty and students collaborating toward success, in and outside of the classroom and building. Our students continue to excel in the classroom and among their peers at top law schools across the country. UK Rosenberg Law faculty members are nationally recognized for their expertise and often asked to address critical issues in our community. Even though every area of the building has changed, our alumni and friends in the legal community recognize the tradition of excellence that remains at our core structure and continue to support our students with both their time and money.

I hope you enjoy reading about the successes of our students, faculty, staff and alumni because every win belongs to all of us. We have achieved the unimaginable because of a village with bold dreams for the future of the Rosenberg College of Law. This is only the beginning!
