Recipients are honored for significant contributions to the university and the community during the annual Lyman T. Johnson Upholding the Torch of Excellence awards ceremony.

November 18, 2016 Allison Connelly, Director of the Legal Clinic and James and Mary Lassiter Professor of Law, is the recipient of the 2016 Duncan Teaching Award at the University of Kentucky College of Law.  Every year, a UK Law faculty member is recognized for excellence in the classroom, courtesy of the Robert M. and Joanne K. Duncan Faculty Improvement Fund – established in 1982 to promote outstanding teaching performance at the college.

Election Analysis Blog Goes Live During 2016 Presidential Election, Attracts Visitors Across the World

November 16, 2016 Members of the Election Law Society at the University of Kentucky College of Law spent election night providing live analyses regarding significant election law issues in Kentucky and across the nation through their Election Analysis Blog. The blog received traffic from 40 of the 50 states and attracted visitors from 11 other countries including Ireland, Russia, and South Korea.
