The Business of Sound: Legal & Managerial Strategy in Music Business

The Sports and Entertainment Law Society will host a speaker event titled “The Business of Sound: Legal & Managerial Strategy in the Music Industry.” The event will feature entertainment attorney Scott Safford of Safford Motley PLC and Fletcher Lyon of Red Light Management, who will discuss the legal and business structures that shape the modern music industry. The discussion will focus on topics such as artist representation, negotiation of recording and management agreements, intellectual property considerations, and the working relationship between attorneys, managers, and artists.
