The Women's Law Caucus invites all Rosenberg College of Law students to join us for a panel discussion exploring legal careers beyond traditional law firm roles. Hear from in-house counsel, judges, and other professionals as they share insights into their paths, day-to-day work, and advice for navigating alternative legal careers.

Aimed at journal and seminar students, we'll walk you through how to make the proper request for the materials you need.

Principal speaker will be Judge Michelle Childs of the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit.  The format will have Judge Childs interviewed by Judge Ana Reyes of the United States District Court for the District of Columbia.

Appalachian Law Caucus - Practicing in Appalachia: A Conversation with a Solo Practitioner

Join the Appalachian Law Caucus for a conversation with Michael Arrington, a solo practitioner from Ashland, KY. Mr. Arrington specializes in family law, estate planning and probate, business formation and contracts, and injury claims. Mr. Arrington will discuss his path to pursuing a career as an attorney and the unique opportunities associated with practicing law in rural Kentucky. Students will have the chance to engage in an open forum and ask questions about his career and practice. Food and refreshments will be provided. All students are encouraged to attend.
